Review by Ted Haycraft

Then yay! - one of the new songs was next: If You Ever Go To Houston - it sounded great though the ending seem to be a little awkward. This show's version of A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall also was sung with a 'choppy' delivery and its ending had a really nice build up with some really cool phrasing where at the same particular point in each line the word there was elongated - very nice! I'm not the biggest fan of Highway 61 Revisted (I know, I know - heresy!) so nothing too exciting here with this performance (at least for me) though I did noticed he seem to get somewhat jovial at the end of it (!?). Wow! - next was a total reworking of Po' Boy - so different! The band seem to be very tentative with this (was this a last minute change? I noticed that right before the concert began it appeared that one of the main roadies was making a change to the Set List...?!??) but I really loved hearing it but this was the one song that the bulk of the crowd seem to check out on (a few of us sounded our appreciation for it when it ended!)

Review by Martin Colombo
This show was so different from the Cincinnati experience from Monday night. I guess you can chalk it up to the arena setup as opposed to the theater. It was my seventh show and although the seats were nearly completely empty at the top, Bob rocked as if to a sold out house. I think that his band is the best yet. I was surprised by LARS for the encore, but that song never gets old to me. After the show, I got to meet the man himself with about 15 others by his bus. Thanks for a great show Bob! See you next go-around!

Review by Kevin Waters
I wasn't that thrilled to hear Just Like A Woman -- until he got into it. I stand corrected! The vocals were "crystal clear", the band followed his lead and stayed with him well. I think, if memory serves me well, that this was one of the tunes where his harp playing was spectacular.

Review by Brian Rushman
I am seeing the Rolling Stones in September as part of my "Over 60" tour. Ticket prices were about seven times the amount for the Stones, but there is now way that it will be seven times better. Bob is playing a rocking, fun show for all ages. Get out and see this show!

Review by Doug Troklus
"She Belongs to Me" was without a doubt the highlight of this show as far as I'm concerned. The music seemed to be playing the band, and the song effortlessly reached epic proportions. Bob blows the harp not once but twice, both extended solos out at center stage! And oh yeah, Bob was dancing alot during this tune. I love watching Bob dance, he seems to move his body to every note that each band member plays-a foot stomp hear and a head nod there..

Review by Jon Daniel
The strangest moment of the show came during Honest With Me. Bob stepped out from behind the keyboards to the center of the stage to dance or direct the band a little, and it's a good thing he did because from out of nowhere a drunken fan, and a big boy at that, came running from backstage, right behind the keyboards where Bob had been standing, paused at the front of the stage, and jumped off. For a second I thought he was going to jump on us. He took a right turn and security tackled him. I didn't see Bob's or the band's reaction to all this, but the song went on with no problem. My friend joked that it was Soy Bomb 2.

Review by Don Ely
Folks sat on their front porches across Barret Avenue or lined the fence behind the stage. During "Honest With Me" Bob ran across the stage with arms raised in mock hysteria as one over-ambitious non-patron stormed the proceedings from the rear.
